This frame from Jane's panorama shows a sunset ray formed by mountains and clouds, lighting the floor of our valley.

The ocotillo in the Colorado Desert were flowering this early spring. This one inspired us to nickname our observing location Ocotillo Flat.

This is the sky we were up against for our first Messier Marathon attempt. It could have been discouraging, but these fabulous clouds gave way to a mostly clear night.
